Power Cables
What are they?
Power cables make it possible to carry an electrical signal from the amplifier to your speakers.
How can you recognize the quality of one cable over another?
The transfer of incoming information received is transmitted more faithfully and accurately the higher the quality of cable used. A power cable must not only support the loads transmitted from the amplifier, but also attempt to get the signal to the speakers as cleanly as possible.
How to achieve all this?
Use materials of the required quality to last. Quality can make a difference, behind each cable there is a specific project and as many specific processes.
The difference in sound reproduction that one cable can offer over another is often found when listening to a song on our hi-fi system.
The choice of the power cable must have the purpose such as to enhance the characteristics of the amplifier and speakers. We are only satisfied if a cable is able to exploit the full potential of our system, or fixes any imperfections in sound reproduction.
What is of fundamental importance is to ensure the length of each cable to each speaker is precisely the same: the rate at which the electrical signal reaches the speaker must be the same and use the same time to transmit the signal to both speakers (or to others, if there are 4 for example). The wire coating is of particular importance, as insulating material is crucial to mitigate the phenomenon of dissipation of the signal. The power cable has the task of bringing the electrical signal to the speakers before it is distributed by the same. It is very important that the signal does not dissipate to ensure no loss of sound performance. The quality of the connectors, or forks, of conductors and insulation is what makes the difference, much more than you can imagine.
