Connection Cables

Signal cables carry the electrical signal from one high fidelity component to another.

High quality connection cables guarantee quality over time. Investing in a good hi-fi system and then saving on connecting cables or power is a gross error.

To achieve the production of high quality cables often incorporates materials such as pure oxygen-free copper (OFC: Oxygen Free Copper) that prevent any oxidation that could seriously compromise the quality of the audio or video signal.

Silver and gold are often used to further improve the quality of the signal and its conductivity. The insulating materials in which the cables are covered are of particular importance. Teflon, polypropylene and ceramic, processed according to the specific needs of each project to achieve more specific requirements.
For example to connect a preamplifier to a power amplifier, the amplifier or CD player to the turntabl, each cable has its own peculiarities and requirements. The capacitance, inductance and resistance are specific characteristics of each cable.

A cable is a passive connection, which does not exercise any power to process the signal, but rather only holds and carries information as cleanly as possible. This is a particular importance to the quality of terminations and connectors.
